Hybrid Pen Blanks, custom cholla cactus pen blanks, Wood Blanks For Pens. Handmade cholla pen blanks poured on June 14th, 2020. 6" length, 7/8" square.
Cholla was stabilized and then cast in Alumilite at 60psi for 24 hours using blue, green, and white Eye Candy pigments.
These will make absolutely beautiful wood turned pens and can be turned then polished with micromesh, and buffed with a polish. For an even shinier finish, you can apply CA after turning and micromesh that to a glass-like finish.
